A person’s relationship with food is complex and deeply personal. For those struggling with an eating disorder, even the simple act of eating can trigger fear, anxiety, and distress, often consuming a significant part of their life. At Fueling for Recovery, we understand that each individual’s journey with food, their reasons for seeking help, and the challenges they face are unique. Our team of registered dietitians provides personalized, evidence-based nutrition care that evolves with each client’s needs. As health professionals, we guide individuals in exploring the factors that shape their perception of food and body image, helping them cultivate a neutral, non-judgmental approach to eating while prioritizing their overall health and well-being.
SPORTS NUTRITION
Nutrition is essential for both athletic performance and overall well-being. However, sports culture can sometimes promote disordered eating, which can lead to chronic injuries, energy deficiencies, burnout, and even eating disorders among athletes. At Fueling for Recovery, we believe that athletes can excel in their sport while maintaining a balanced, unrestricted approach to nutrition. Our goal is to empower individuals to understand the vital role nutrition plays in performance, equip them to fuel their bodies properly, and give them the tools to challenge misinformation and harmful messages in their environment.

We believe in offering a harm reduction approach and accompanying clients whether they are striving for recovery or not. As an athlete, an individual struggling with an eating disorder, or someone who wants to work on their nutrition, our team believes that you know what is best for you and will always offer a space where you’re empowered to make informed choices.
