About Elsa

Elsa is a dietitian who specializes in eating disorders and sports nutrition. As a former track athlete and elite ultimate frisbee player, she feels dedicated to helping athletes thrive.

Meet Elsa

Elsa is a compassionate and dynamic registered dietitian with a deep passion for both sports nutrition and eating disorders. With a degree from McGill University and membership in the Ordre des diététistes nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ), she brings a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to her work.

Raised in a French-Chinese household in California, Elsa grew up with a deep appreciation for the emotional and cultural importance of food, which shaped her understanding of its powerful impact on our well-being.

As a former track athlete and elite ultimate frisbee player who has competed at provincial, national, and world championships, Elsa intimately understands the pressures athletes face. She has a keen awareness of the fine line between disciplined nutrition and harmful restrictions, making her especially skilled in helping athletes find a healthy, balanced relationship with food.

Elsa excels at quickly identifying problems and offering creative, individualized solutions that support both optimal performance and long-term health.

Empathetic and Energetic Approach

Elsa’s clients are at the heart of her practice. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals feel understood and supported, whether they are athletes striving for peak performance or individuals working through disordered eating. Her empathetic nature allows her to deeply connect with her clients, while her quick thinking and problem-solving abilities ensure that she can help them navigate even the most challenging situations. She’s not just a guide—she’s a partner in their journey towards better health.

Expertise and Training

With years of experience working with athletes and individuals struggling with eating disorders, Elsa draws from a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including behavioral psychology, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care. Her approach is rooted in helping clients reconnect with their personal values, build body acceptance, and develop flexible, sustainable eating habits. She’s adept at breaking down complex nutrition concepts into simple, relatable ideas, often using analogies, visual aids, and personalized tools to ensure clients feel empowered to make lasting changes.
