Approach and Training
Annyck has a special interest in treating individuals who feel like traditional eating disorder care has failed them. She incorporates a variety of therapeutic modalities in her nutrition counseling in order to accompany her clients in understanding the barriers to healing their relationship with food and their body.
Annyck has received extensive training in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Based Treatment (FBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which she integrates into her nutrition counseling. This diverse expertise allows her to offer an exploratory, flexible approach that meets clients where they are on their journey. By blending these evidence-based practices with compassionate care, Annyck helps clients gain insight into their behaviors and emotions surrounding food, fostering a deeper understanding and a more sustainable path toward health and healing. She believes in harm reduction and offering a space where clients can name what feels accessible and manageable.
Who She Works With
Annyck accompanies adolescents and their families, adults and athletes (recreational and professional) in developing a more sustainable relationship with food and their bodies through collaborative, trauma-informed and client-centered care. Annyck is committed to fostering meaningful, long-lasting change and well-being for all her clients. With creativity, scientific evidence, empathy and humor, Annyck offers a space where clients can explore nutrition and how beliefs, emotions and physical vulnerabilities can contribute to a problematic relationship with food.
Annyck is bilingual in French and English, works with clients in Canada and the United States and provides insurance receipts.
